The Internship Program continues to provide an enriching internship experience and supporting interns learning and development in early career. In reviewing the work our interns accomplished this summer, we were delighted to see their projects continued to have a strong impact on our business goals and customers, and exceeded their learning goals for this experience. The Emerging Talent team hosted Dropbox’s first-ever Emerging Talent Summit - a special gathering of Dropbox interns, apprentices, and early-career Dropboxers at the San Francisco Studio this summer.Įnsuring interns work on high-impact projects is a top focus of the Internship Program. On top of participating in virtual events and talks hosted by the Internship Program team, many were able to attend team off-sites and work from Dropbox Studios - experiencing the best combination of remote work and in-person collaboration. This summer our interns were able to take full-advantage of working at a Virtual First company. Each year we continue to learn and iterate on the program to ensure we are delivering a top-notch experience for our interns and host teams. This summer was our second year running a Virtual First internship program. In September, we officially wrapped up the 2022 Summer Internship Program! This summer we welcomed over 50 interns across Engineering, Design, Customer Experience, and Marketing Analytics. At the end of their 12 weeks, interns are extended return offers (internship or full-time) based on their performance. During their internship, interns are placed on a team and paired with a mentor who designs a project that is both meaningful and impactful to the business and the students’ growth and development. Students intern with us for 12 weeks between May - September in locations all over the US and Canada.
